Avery Bradley Biography
Bradley was born in Tacoma, Washington, on November 26, 1990, to Avery Bradley Sr. and Alicia Jones-Bradley. He has two older brothers, one younger brother, and one older sister. His mother worked in a welfare office, and his father served in the military for 22 years. Bradley lived with his mother after his parents divorced in 2001, but he maintained a close relationship with his father, whose job took him all over the country. When he lived in Arlington from 2001 to 2004, he became a Texas Longhorns fan. In the summer of 2004, before the start of his eighth grade year, he and his family moved from Texas to Tacoma. Bradley was a member of the same AAU team as future Celtics player Isaiah Thomas.

Bradley reached a settlement with a woman he allegedly sexually assaulted on May 23, 2017, while playing for the Boston Celtics in Cleveland. He denied the charges.
