Betty Marion White Ludden was born in Oak Park, Illinois in the United States on January 17, 1922. She was the only child of her parents and was apparently originally, Elizabeth.
She studied in Beverly Hills and then did some modeling and acting work.
She was married three times including her latest being the late popular television host, Allen Ludden.
She had no children of her own.

Betty White was a popular American comedian, actress, author and former radio host. She received many awards and accolades for her marvelous work including Primetime and Daytime Emmy awards amongst others. The start of her career was not easy as she struggled to get a casting role because she was described as not being photogenic and ended up hosting her own radio show.
She hosted her own show and co-founded Bandy Productions.
She appeared in several movies and television shows including Saturday Night Live, The Simpsons, the Ellen show, Tom Sawyer and the Proposal amongst many others.
