George Wajackoyah Biography
Wajackoyah was born in the Western Kenyan village of Indangalasia, near Mumias. His birth date is variously given as 24 October 1959 (age 63 as of 2022) in Uganda at some point in 1960 or 1961 at St Mary’s Hospital in Jinja. Luhya is the owner of his tribe. Tito Olilo Jakoya was his father, and Melenia Makokha was his mother. He was abandoned when he was 16 years old as a result of his parents’ divorce and ended up as a street boy in Nairobi until a well-wisher came to his aid and paid his secondary school fees.
George Wajackoyah attended the local primary school in Busia township between 1969 and 1975. He studied for his O-Levels at Nairobi’s City High School between 1976 and 1979, and then for his A-Levels between 1980 and 1981.
Wajackoya graduated as a police officer after studying policing and criminal investigation at Kenya Police Training College in Kiganjo after high school.

George Wajackoyah Career
Mr. George Luchiri Wajackoyah is an independent political campaigner and a legal practitioner based in Nairobi, Kenya. Wajackoyah also ran for president in Kenya’s 2022 general election, which was held on August 9, 2022. He was running for the Roots Party of Kenya, which advocates for the legalization of marijuana in Kenya. He skipped the 2022 presidential debate, which was held on July 26, 2022, because the organizers refused to adopt his preferred format for the debate, which was to have all four presidential candidates debate at the same time rather than dividing it into two parts, the first with the least popular candidates according to opinion polls, where Wajackoya was to face off against Wahiga Mwaure, and the second with the top contenders Raila Odinga and William Ruto.
Wajackoya also teaches law at United States International University (USIU).
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission approved George Wajackoyah as a candidate for the Roots Party of Kenya in Kenya’s Presidential Election on 9 August 2022 in June 2022.
George Wajackoyah Personal Life
Prof Wajackoyah’s wife and children live in the United States, while he lives in the United Kingdom. His son and two daughters are studying and pursuing various careers in England.
George Luchiri Wajackoyah, the leader of the Roots Party, has two daughters who resemble him: Marjorie Luchiri and Marz Luchiri.
