Muhammad Javed Afridi is a business executive and entrepreneur from Pakistan. He is the CEO of Haier Pakistan and the owner of MG Motors Pakistan. Afridi is also the owner of the Peshawar Zalmi cricket team in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the Co-Founder/CEO of JoChaho. MG JW Automobile Pakistan is a subsidiary of JW Auto Park, which is owned by Javed Afridi. To bring electric vehicles to Pakistan, MG Motors Pakistan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Morris Garages (MG) Motor UK Limited, which is owned by SAIC Motor. It plans to build an electric vehicle manufacturing plant. In Pakistan, MG Motors will launch two models, the MG HS and the MG ZS EV, in 2020. Morris Garage (MG) Motors Pakistan has introduced the MG ZS, which is priced at Rs 4.1 million. Under his supervision, Javed Afridi has sponsored numerous cricket tournaments, including the Haier Super 8 T20 Cup and the Pakistan Super League. Afridi also owned the Peshawar Zalmi cricket team for ten years.
